Choosing colors


There are many places in Animo 2.0 where you'll need to choose a color. You do so using the ColorChooser window. This provides various methods for choosing, blending and comparing both colors and grays, based on different color models used in broadcasting and printing. You can switch between color methods at any time; for example, you can use one method to specify a color, and later use a different method to modify it.

The Color Chooser window

To display the ColorChooser window, choose Tools > Colors. The window has a hidden menu; to display it click with the right mouse button on the title bar. Use this menu to control which sections of the window appear; below we show the window with all sections visible:

Because the window is so large, below we'll only show the parts of it that are relevant to each description.
